I am interested in a possible Service Manager or Advisor position that’s available at your
company. From my enclosed resume, you will find that my experience meets the requirements
for the position.
As the former manager of small and large volume service departments, I appreciate the
importance of a customer loyalty that comes from the recommendations of satisfied clients. I am
considered a diplomatic manager, which enables me to get along well with clients , supervisors,
and teammates. I live by Lou Holtz’s three rules: Do what’s Right, Do your Best, and Treat
Others as You Would Like to Be Treated, also known as the golden rule. If we follow these
three simple rules we can build a team that will achieve, and then some, our forecasts and goals
beyond our greatest expectations. At every dealership I have been at I have as an individual or
department never failed to break every CSI record, which of course leads to sales records. This
creates high morale, CSI, and production among teammates by goal setting , production
objectives including minimum performance standards, motivating teammates according to their
personalities, and rewarding our eagles (top performers). Thereby creating the WOW! factor,
excellent client retention and contributes to the overall ownership cycle, a crucial factor in the
success of our dealership.
